    • "You can do it later."
    • "Haven't you been playing long enough?"

The story behind the GTA 6 gamer contract

Just before Grand Theft Auto VI hits the shelves on November 19, 2026, a photo of a young couple went viral across gaming communities: they had printed — and actually signed — a "Contract Agreement" under the GTA VI logo. It granted the boyfriend unlimited playtime for the release week, banned walking in front of the TV during missions, cutscenes, heists and online sessions, and even listed the three forbidden phrases every gamer knows too well: "It's just a game", "You can do it later" and "Haven't you been playing long enough?".

The internet's verdict was unanimous: this is the healthiest way to survive a release week. This page lets you make the same contract in a minute — the classic five rules are already in place, and every line can be rewritten to fit your household. It works for couples, roommates, even parents and kids: after more than a decade of waiting for the return to Vice City, the least your loved ones can do is sign the paperwork.
